Dividing and multiplying Mixed numbers:

Multiplying

Dividing

Change mixed numbers into improper fractions

Change mixed numbers into improper fractions

Try to simplify before 

multiplying

Switch: Change the division sign to multiplication

Multiply across numerators and denominators. 

Flip (reciprocal) the 2nd fraction

Simplify:  if you have an improper fraction, change to a mixed number

Try to simplify before multiplying

Read and take notes on Exploration 1, Modeling Surface Currents: Patterns in the Ocean, Formation of the Surface Currents, and Factors that Affect Surface Currents. You can get to the log in through HMH.com or there is a link on Google Classroom. The password is Scot6.
